Scaffold Engineering, Inc. (SEI), a privately held engineering firm, is pleased to announce the addition of a new partner—Vice President Eric Pannabecker. Since joining SEI in 2019 as a Project Engineer, Eric has demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication, quickly progressing to Senior Project Engineer in 2021. His contributions have proven invaluable, and his promotion to Vice President marks an important step in the firm’s continued growth and innovation.
In his new role, Eric will lead a team of professional, technical, and administrative staff, providing project management and consulting services that align with SEI’s strategic objectives. With a strong focus on the Formwork and Shoring industry, Eric is particularly passionate about the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) into standard practices. By advocating for BIM, he aims to enhance the accuracy of formwork and shoring designs, allowing concrete contractors to visualize projects in 4D. This innovative approach reduces the guesswork associated with traditional 2D drawings and promises significant time and cost savings during construction, benefiting all parties involved.
SEI President Ed Foster shared his enthusiasm about Eric’s promotion, stating, “Over the years, Eric has been pivotal in driving progress within SEI’s engineering practice and has been a tremendous asset to the firm as a whole. As a partner of the firm, he will continue to provide critical insight and help SEI continue to grow.”
Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio. His journey from Project Engineer to Vice President underscores his commitment to advancing the construction industry through innovative solutions. As SEI continues to evolve, Eric’s leadership will be instrumental in steering the firm toward new opportunities and achievements.
We look forward to the exciting future ahead at Scaffold Engineering, Inc. with Eric Pannabecker as a key player in our continued success!
