Structural Engineer

Location: Company Headquarters is in San Antonio, Texas (Garden Ridge Area), but this position is flexible to Work From Home depending on skill and experience levels.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing structural systems for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial developments. You’ll collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design structural components and systems using industry standards and best practices
• Perform load calculations, structural analysis, and material selection
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans
• Review and approve shop drawings and construction documents
• Ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal regulations and codes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain)
• 3+ years of relevant structural engineering experience
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or similar)
• Strong understanding of building codes and construction practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
